The ZOR! team

Original ZOR! website
Translating statements into deliverables
We started the work on ZOR! with brainstorming exercises to help visualize some of the Mukki's goals.

User stories
We followed the "As a (type of user), I want (some goal or action) so that (desired outcome)." template to create 30+ user stories.

Drawing up a brand personality
ZOR! needed to have a clear personality in order for users to easily interact and identify with them. In this activity, the client and our team indicated where they believed that the ZOR! falls (or thinks that it should fall) within select sets of traits.

Logo Ideation
The team came together to brainstorm logo ideas. The resulting logos were synonymous with electric zap, brain-shaped and some were plain ZOR! text.

Paper sketches
My process involved brainstorming words related to the brand and sketched and vectorized the logo sketches.

Finalized logo variations

My vectors
The dot in the exclamation mark resembles a brain, drawn from Mukki's initial idea to showcase the positive impact of ZOR! rippling into users' lives. The logo takes on the dichotomy of ripples and a brain.
UI Components

The default, hover and active states coexist with a subtle distinction carried by an underline.

Design Elements
For website design elements, we pivoted to an abstract line and circle art with a gradient inspired by a picture Mukki was drawn to, combining artistic appeal and scientific meaning.

We overhauled the site's information architecture to fit the navigation needs better and compartmentalized sections within each page.

What's Next?

Mobile screens
The goal of the project was to help our client, Muskan Gill gain credibility and establish herself as a professional to secure funding.
After the website goes live, ZOR! will begin data collection which is where funding will have a huge impact. Once data is collected a mobile app MVP that directly addresses patients with epilepsy will be developed from the delivered lo-fi designs.
